In 2021, we have opened a case on our site ActeNow.com for Hussein Junblat who needs a kidney transplant. We accumulated 4506 USD through the campaign (A part of the payment was donated in USD and the smallest part in Lebanese Lira at a rate of around 20.000 Lira per 1 USD).
Since 2021, Hussein’s health has deteriorated and he hasn’t yet had the luck to have a kidney donation. He tried to get a donation from his wife, she did all the medical exams, but she wasn’t compatible. The same happened recently with his brother. Today, Hussein is on the waiting list at the Bank organ donation: NOD-LB.Org – Organ Donation and Transplantation.
The money we collected for him previously was nearly all used for his treatments and weekly follow-up, he takes several pills and drugs per week: Heparine, Alpeen, Levenox, Alpha, Vancolon, Likacin, Estecina… He did as well during those previous months several blood exams as well as medical surgery such as “Tunneled jugular catheter” and need immediate surgery for his hand veins named “arteriovenous fistula”.
Today Hussein is hoping again to have your support until he has the luck to make a kidney transplant. He is counting on a generous heart to come to his help.
